50 Homes. 400 Lives. One Decision That Never Made the News.

Three years of building in one of the most dangerous regions in the Western Hemisphere. Gang threats, political chaos, resource shortages and security risks that stopped outside photographers from even getting close.

The Mark Evans DM Family Village in Roseaux, Haiti was completed quietly... without cameras flashing or a single press release hitting the media. Just families moving into homes they never thought they'd have.

With help of a close friend and partner Doug Doebler, along with the Haitian Health Foundation and SAI Haiti Construction, 50 homes were built for families living in horrific conditions most people never see and never think about. Grandparents, parents, and kids, sometimes three generations, now safe and all under one roof. Roughly 400 people.

Coconut and moringa trees were being planted. Families are learning to grow their own food and a garden was built for the children. The project didn't end at construction. It just changed form, quietly compounding into something that will outlast all of us.

That's what a giving muscle looks like when you actually use it.
